MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB


To provide administrative support to the Security Section of the BHC Islamabad

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiling   the Police List and agreeing Security Access to the Diplomatic Enclave from   requests from all parts of the mission.
  • Monitor   the Security section Inbox and answer all e-mails promptly after confirming   any required information with the Security Team
  • Man the   Security admin telephone and answer all call promptly and politely directing   them to the most appropriate person in the team if needed. Monitor the CCTV   and tracking system in the Security Office.
  • Operate   maintain and create BHC Compound Access passes for Staff, family, Visitors   and Staff Employees.
  • Be   prepared to complete admin journeys and assist at functions for the benefit   of the section in the official vehicle where required. This may include   delivery and collection of important documentation from Police Stations and   government buildings together with section administrative duties, both in and   out of normal working hours.
  • Maintain   the section Stationary store, ensuring a small supply of essential stationary   is always at hand.
  • Monitor   local news channels and bring any significant incidents to the attention of   the OSM’s,or SSO
  • Assist   with Mail Scanning when required, together with any other task as given by   OSM’s or SSO

Security section is responsible for the safety   and security of all staff and buildings at the BHC Islamabad



WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

A good team member who can think clearly with   excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a challenging and at time demanding   role that is a vital and integral part of the security team at the BHC Islamabad.   You must be able to multi task and work with others.


  • A valid full current driving licence. (A driving assessment will be conducted prior to any interviews for selected candidates).
  • Organised and flexible in working hours when needed.
  • IT and computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Minimum 2 years experience of an office environment with a customer focussed role.

 

  • Previous experience in a security administrative environment.
  • Previous experience of monitoring of CCTV systems
