MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Supervision of Mechanical and Electrical works
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the efficient planning of the mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair personnel`s work load, ensuring value for money.
- The completion of reactive maintenance in line with the TWG management charter time lines.
- Providing an element of cost, programme, safety and build ability advice on proposed major maintenance & improvement works
- Allocate and control rota of staff and maintain records
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance/ test and inspection schedules, logs and registers are kept up to date and of a high quality.
- The Completion of planned preventative maintenance in line with maintenance schedules.
- Take actions to correct recommendations made in Health and safety and property inspection reports.
- To ensure all TWG personnel adhere to Health and Safety Statutory and mandatory Standards and Regulations.
- The timely arrangement of materials for projects and maintenance activities to limit delays.
- To assist with the training of staff in health and safety Standards and regulations.
- To keep up to date with and have an awareness of new products and improved working methods that can add value by improving quality and reducing costs.
- The development of staff practical and technical skill to include capacity building.
- The planning of follow up corrective actions minimising equipment down time.
- Implement countermeasures to minimise reoccurrence of faults

We are the Technical Works Group, providing facilities management covering all domestic and commercial services to the British High Commission.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
The Supervisor – Projects/Operations Mechanical and Electrical is expected to carry out all his duties and responsibilities in a timely and safe manner and may be asked to work after hours and weekends if the need arises.
Education: Qualification in a Mechanical and /or electrical discipline from a recognised Institute
Experience: 3 years experience in supervising an electrical or mechanical workforce
For British High Commission (BHC) candidates, the Local Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.
For other than BHC candidates, salary will be PKR 68,929 per month
