The British Embassy in Ashgabat is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking for a Projects, Prosperity & Energy Officer.

The main purpose of the job is:

  • To work with local implementers and in compliance with Embassy and FCO priorities, identify and monitor Embassy projects in the areas of human rights, good governance, democracy and prosperity.
  • To support the UK’s prosperity agenda by facilitating UK companies interested in exporting to or establishing businesses in Turkmenistan.
  • To report on energy issues.

 

  • Project Management experience;
  •  Understanding of energy matters, particularly the Turkmen oil and gas industry;
  •  Strong analytical skills;
  •  Self motivating;
  •  Team player;
  •  Outstanding oral and written English, Turkmen and Russian.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Power point and Outlook;
  • Business experience.
