View Vacancy - Exports Advisor (DNK297)
The British Embassy in Copenhagen, part of a world-wide network representing UK political, economic and consular interests in Denmark is looking for a Exports Advisor for the Department for International Trade (DIT).
The Department for International Trade (DIT) is the UK Government organisation that helps UK-based companies to succeed in Denmark and other international markets. DIT also assists overseas companies to bring high-quality investment to the UK’s economy.
The role will focus on identifying and developing export for UK companies, supporting commercial enquires, providing trusted research, advice and trade event management.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Identify exports opportunities for UK companies in Denmark using existing networks, desk research analysis and business development methods;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Danish and UK stakeholders including facilitating collaboration, enquiry management and business support;
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on internal platforms as well as delivering accurate market research;
- Ensure high quality organization of, and representation at events, conferences both in the UK and Denmark.
- Commercial flair with a proven knowledge of the Danish economy and commercial institutions;
- Strong research and analytical skills and an ambition to advise;
- Result oriented with a track record of achieving targets;
- Proven ability to structure, manage and implement projects while working in small multi-disciplined teams;
- Strong presentation skills with fluency in both Danish and English (essential);
- IT savvy with strong CRM / cloud based skills.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience;
- An understanding of Government and the role it plays in international trade promotion would of advantage;
- Fluency in other Nordic languages.
This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
The successful candidate will be subject to professional background check and security clearance.
The successful candidate must have pre-existing work authorization for Denmark in order to apply.
