JKT- Entry Clearance Assistant (4 Months Fixed Term Contract)
- Print visas in accordance with instructions from the UKVI Hub
- Handling vignettes in line with current UK government policy and guidance
- Conduct investigations in order to verify information submitted with visa applications, including examining and checking documents, and conducting telephone interviews
- Daily liaison with the UKVI Hub and the Commercial Partner
- Assist with basic administrative duties as required by the Country Manager and Entry Clearance Managers in the UKVI Hub
- Involvement in stakeholder engagement and outreach events, often outside of working hours
- Provide support to the wider Embassy in the event of a crisis.
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Indonesian Bahasa minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
- A keen sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality
- A keen eye for detail
- An ability to work under pressure to meet challenging daily targets
- Can meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Good IT skills and experience, proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Able to work on and use own initiative
- A positive attitude to working flexible hours
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a small team and be adaptable to the working environment

Contract
This position is offered on a 4 months fixed term contract.
Hours
This position would suit someone who is looking for employment in a busy office environment. Office hours are 07.30 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 to 13.00 on Friday.
Salary
The British Embassy offers a competitive compensation package including: minimum gross monthly salary of IDR 7,320,299, medical insurance benefits, paid annual leave entitlement and access to learning and development opportunities.
Interviews will be held during May 2016 and the successful candidate is expected to start work on in June 2016.
