Main purpose of job: The Financial Controller will be an integral part of the Finance team as well as working on a regular basis with other Corporate Services Departments. Working closely with colleagues to deliver a pro-active, customer focused, service in South Africa. The Financial Controller will provide all aspects of financial services from processing to statement of financial position for the British High Commission in South Africa. The Finance Controller will support the Financial Manager to ensure that post meets its financial obligations functioning within the financial compliance parameters as set by the FCDO. This position requires accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), problem solving and a keen sense of pro-activeness.
