The British Embassy in Jakarta is part of a world-wide network of 230 posts, representing British political, defence, economic, trade, and consular interests around the world.

The successful candidate will provide transport support for the travel of the Head of Mission to aid in his frontline objectives at any time and also meet the Close Protection team's requirements and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Driver for the Pool (Embassy operations).
  • Secure vehicle in their care.
  • Daily check of tyre pressures, hydraulic fluid, oil, radiator, and battery level
  • Keep the vehicles clean and ready for service
  • Report any defects found in the vehicle
  • Keep an accurate record of all journeys

  • B1 license holder
  • Healthy mentally and physically (no eye glasses)
  • Intermediate/basic written and spoken English
