Main purpose of job:

To improve financial compliance and understanding of the Purchase to Pay process by delivering training to 141 Posts in Asia Pacific, MENAD, EECAD, SAAD and Africa covering GTPC, Procurement and Finance Hub issues.  Delivering training through conferences, calls and in person and assisting with producing guidance and training materials.

Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:

Training Delivery

  • Design and deliver P2P training for new Corporate Services Assistants.
  • Deliver Finance Training to Corporate Services Managers explaining Procurement, Finance Management and GTPC processes.
  • Deliver monthly Topic Calls (webinars) to Directorates on key issues identified, designing and developing content and curriculum.
  • Deliver training to PAGS on P2P.
  • Deliver 5 x Open Houses (training conferences) throughout the year for Corporate Services Staff and separate Open House for non-Corporate Service staff.
  • Roll out of Atlas Training.
  • Provide internal training (twice a month) for new hires to GTPC on the P2P process.
  • Deliver Ad Hoc training as required to individuals at Post with particular difficulties.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationship with key contacts at Posts working collaboratively to improve service delivery.  Use KPIs and Enquiries report to identify Post which require additional training. 
  • Co-ordinate and meet regularly with other P2P teams to understand current P2P process and identify any posts which require additional training. 
  • Work closely with colleagues in GTPC MK to ensure training materials are aligned.
  • Work closely with others teams such as HR Payroll Hubs, Procurement, RMD and Strategic Banking to keep up-to-date on key initiatives

Continuous Improvement

  • Report to Head of Customer Engagement on common areas of difficulties across posts.  Recommending action to be taken and implement any agreed measures.
  • Promote and encourage innovation within the team fostering a positive change culture within the team
  • Commit at least 5 days each year for job shadowing, rotations, attending meetings and training
  • At least two years’ experience in a Purchase to Pay environment. 
  • Experience of delivering change in a customer facing and results oriented environment.
  • Experience to presenting to large group
  • Language requirement - English (excellent spoken and written skill)
