Comms Intern: To support the Communications in achieving it desired objectives.

DIT Intern: To suppost the Trade and Investment section in achieving its desired objectives.

Corporate Services Intern: To support the Corporate Services section in achieving its desired objectives

  • Comms: support the Communications and Political Affairs section in a range of activities from political research to social media work to the promotion of the UK Government’s Chevening scholarship programme.
  • DIT: support the Trade and Investment section in a range of activities including market research, organisation of trade events and the promotion of the UK businesses in the market, among others.
  • Corporate Services: To support Corporate Services Section section in a range of activities from market research, government administration policies and update of Post databases

 

Language: English and Spanish written and oral

Level of language required: fluent

Candidates should be currently pursuing or have completed a university degree in any of the following areas including, but not limited to International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Communications and Audiovisual Production. Must have excellent computer skills, particularly MS Outlook and MS Office packages.


 


Candidate must possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communications skills.

This is an internship and is completely designed around the individuals desire to learn and develop. It will offer a window into how a diplomatic mission operates and the type of work we become involved in.

Working Patterns:

The line manager will set the working pattern- in agreement with each intern. The maximum hours worked per weer are 24 hours for a period of 3 months, with the possibility of an additional 3 months where appropriate. The Embassy will provide the Intern with a stipend of $300 USD to help cover travel expenses.
