Main purpose of job:

The British Embassy is seeking to recruit an A2 (L) Corporate Services Officer in the Technical works Group Section to run and support general administrative activities.

 Roles and responsibilities:

  • Management of client Work Requests
  • Management of financial imprest
  • To provide monthly financial performance reporting to the Technical Works Supervisor, Accountant and Head of Corporate Services
  • Management of locally engaged casual labour
  • Monitor and report on the Planned Preventive Programme (PPM) to include various Maintenance Scheduling.
  • Upkeep records and filing for the Technical Works Group Section
  • General administrative duties
  • Prism requisitioning
  • Act as interpreter for meetings and to local contractors
  • Undertake the Procurement process of Local and UK supplied materials
  • Other administrative duties as requested by Line Manger.
  • IT literate
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Have good organizational skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines with a number of competing priorities.  
  • Good oral and written understanding of English language
  • Minimum of 3 years experience on administrative work, be fully computer literate.
