To support the Outreach, Chevening and GREAT Campaign Officer in delivering the embassy’s outreach strategy, which seeks to coordinate relationships and activity in Bogota and beyond. This includes managing the Embassy’s central database of contacts, the list of what programmes and other activity are happening outside Bogota, and organising papers for coordination meetings, often working closely with the Political Counsellor and Press team.

The role also supports the Outreach, Chevening and GREAT Campaign Officer in implementing the administrative & financial tasks and on a minor scale the marketing strategy for Chevening scholarships, the UK’s flagship programme for foreign post-graduates studying in the UK.

                          • Excellent organisational skills; attention to detail; resilience – the ability to work under pressure; strong team player.
                          • Currently enrolled in the last semesters of university degree in, Administration, Services, Commerce, Social Communications or related fields (journalism, advertising, etc.), or International Relations and Government degrees.
                          • Available full-time and able to work sporadically on nights and weekends when events requires it.
                          • Sociable, able to interact and collaborate with different teams
                          • Excellent team work and communications skill
                          • Works well under pressure and against deadlines, able to deal effectively with stressful and difficult situation
                          • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish
                          • Interest in the UK.

                          Level of language required: Spanish (native), English (minimum B2 certified with IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent).



                          • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access or related programmes

                          • Knowledge of social media.
