View Vacancy - Political Assistant Intern (ROU23.628)
The British Embassy is looking for an enthusiastic intern starting as soon as possible. The new colleague will support the work of the Political Team, providing analysis on Romania’s domestic and foreign policy and providing day to day support to the team, with opportunity to lead on their own projects and events.
Main responsibilities will include:

- Undergraduate Degree;
- Demonstrated interest in Romanian domestic politics;
- Strong oral/written communication skills, C level, in English and Romanian.
- Degree in Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, European Affairs or Public Policy;
- Experience managing events;
- Experience managing projects, from concept development to delivery;
- Networking skills and ability to build relationships with key contacts and ability to adapt style and approach to a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a full time position of 5 days (35 hours net per week) for a 12 months internship contract
Monthly salary is 3300 RON gross. The successful candidate will be subject to confirmation of a background check and security clearance, and satisfactory completion of a probationary period of 30 working days.

Visa/work permit requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Romania and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract.
