The British Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan is part of a world-wide network representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking to recruit a Business Support Officer to join the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) team. DBT is an international economic department, securing UK and global prosperity by promoting and financing international trade and investment opportunities and championing free trade. The successful candidate will support the DBT team, providing administrative continuity across initiatives, leading on budget tracking and information management, and contributing to trade promotion and research activities where necessary.

This is a full-time, permanent contract, 5 working days, 40 hours net per week.
The salary is 1,855.04 USD gross per month and shall be paid in AZN monthly
Flexible working is championed at post, including working from home and flexi-hours, however, the job-holder will need to work to operational needs.
Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Azerbaijan is subject to Terms and Conditions of Service of the FCDO according to local labour legislation.
