- Strong written and oral English and Chinese skills are essential
- Previous experience of communicating clearly and concisely in English is essential, including the ability to explain technical terms and processes to a non-technical audience
- Applicants should have a very strong understanding of the economy of China and/or China’s financial sector and markets
- Degree or equivalent qualification in economics or finance
- Previous experience working in or with government on economic and financial issues
Note:
For this position, we are only able to consider British Nationals, spouses/partners of diplomats who are ‘W’ (diplomatic) visa holders and internal Chinese staff to be located at the Embassy in Beijing.
Benefits:

- A gross monthly salary of CNY 19,955 for Chinese Nationals and an abated salary of CNY 27,633 for British Nationals and spouses/partners of diplomats who are ‘W’ (diplomatic) visa holders and meet passport criteria.

Working Patterns:
35 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30. There may be occasions that may require you to work outside normal hours.
