Who we are:
The Regional Procurement Lead will be part of Europe and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Development (EECAD) Procurement Hub, which supports the FCDO Commercial and wider UK Government objectives through efficient, transparent and value-for-money procurement across Europe and Central Asia.
FCDO Commercial takes responsibility for the acquisition of all goods and services required by the organisation whether bought in the UK or at one of our 52 office locations around Vilnius Procurement Hub managed region.
Working with colleagues across the Hub, UK-based specialists, internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the jobholder will lead a variety of procurement projects that enable FCDO operations and programmes. The role requires simplifying complex information, making confident decisions under pressure, and providing clear, practical advice.
Main purpose of job:
The main purpose is to deliver effective procurement outcomes while proactively improving processes, solving problems, and building strong relationships across the region.
The jobholder will be supported by a collaborative team and will have access to UK Government learning and development opportunities to strengthen both procurement and wider professional skills.

This role will require the job holder to work independently on a day to day basis, planning activities, setting the priorities, following the targets set by line manager.
This is a full-time, 35 net hours per week, permanent contract, EO grade position.
Flexible working can be considered, a mix between office/home-based working is currently practice but increased presence in the office will be expected.
The start date for the position is as soon as possible, subject to the availability of the candidate and the length of the recruitment process.
