View Vacancy - Good Governance Fund Project Officer (GEO22.415)
This is a key position within the bilateral Programmes Team in the British Embassy, helping to deliver our work funded by the Good Governance Fund (GGF). This is a permanent appointment. GGF has been running in Georgia since 2015, and has a current financial year budget of £3.5m. The Fund aims to strengthen Georgia’s democratic and economic resilience, and delivers a portfolio of technical assistance projects to support those aims. You will be one of three project officers in the team – two of which work on GGF and one who works on another UK-funded programme called the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF). You will be managed by the Head of Georgia Programmes, who is also based in Tbilisi. |
The team is currently focussing on delivering existing project work, and developing new projects for this financial year and beyond. GGF is a centrally-managed programme, meaning some aspects of programme management lie with colleagues in the UK.

This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00-17:00), contract.
The gross monthly salary is 7,077 GEL (gross). Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax and state pension contributions required by local law.
The successful candidate will be subject to a professional background check and security clearance.
Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Tbilisi is subject to local Terms and Conditions of Service.
