View Vacancy - Estates Assistant AA (09/24 MPT)
Main purpose of job:
To work closely with the Estates Officer in ensuring that the offices and residential properties of the British High Commission in Maputo are actively maintained by organizing preventative maintenance to these properties whilst also reacting timely to requests from occupants and colleagues whilst ensuring that Health and Safety standards are adhered to by both High Commission staff members and contractors. Furthermore, to assist the Estates Officer in maintaining inventories of all properties and updating property records on FCDO proprietary databases.

Learning and development opportunities (and any specific training courses to be completed): There is ample opportunity to develop with FCDO/Civil Service courses that offer world-class training in corporate service provision. We have a generous training budget, and we encourage staff to identify training to improve their performance and aid their career progression, in consultation with their line-manager. |
Working patterns: 5 days a week Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00 Regular attendance at the office and visits to residential properties are required as part of this role so working away from the site is not possible. |
