The British Consulate General in Istanbul is part of a world-wide network representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas as is now looking to hire Entry Clearance Assistants for its UK Visas and Immigration section in Istanbul to provide support to the UK Visas and Immigration section.
The objective of this role is to provide high quality and efficient support to the visa application processing which meets benchmarks and ensures the delivery of excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. Main tasks:

The start date of the position might change depending on the candidate’s availability and the time taken to carry out mandatory checks.
This is a full-time fixed-term position of 12 months for 5 working days (36.25 hours net).
The monthly salary for this position is 1,447 USD gross AO level. Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax required by local law.
All applicants should have the right to live and work in Turkey. The British Consulate General does not sponsor for work permits.
The successful candidate will be subject to professional background check, security clearance and a probation period of 2 months.
Staff recruited locally by the British Consulate General are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local Turkish employment law.
