Main purpose of job:
The Residence Housekeeper is responsible for the upkeep of the Official Residence of the British Ambassador. The successful candidate will ensure that the Residence is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness at all times. The jobholder will be responsible for cleaning the private and entertainment areas of the Residence as well as maintaining the silverware and linen required for use at functions. The jobholder would also need to take on serving responsibilities during functions at the Residence.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:
1. Keeping the residence private and representational area clean
2. Bed making
3. Linen management and hygiene, such as storing them properly
4. Maintain a high standard of the residence cleanliness including all equipment and report fault equipment as necessary
5. Laundry service
6. Help in the kitchen with clearing and cleaning after any functions
7. Assist the residence chef
8. Serving food and beverages during functions
- having at least three (3) years’ experience as hotel and household Housekeeper
- be able and skilled to serve food and beverages
- having good knowledge in Hygiene
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well
- ability to be effectively carry out work during busy days
- Language: basic English and Indonesian
