Administer the following operating systems and applications:
Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10+ Production, Test, and Development
Oracle RDBMS 11g and 12c
Oracle RMAN
Oracle Discoverer 11g and Web Logic Servers
Oracle Discoverer Administrator (Business Areas and Workbooks)
Oracle Forms & Reports 6i
Oracle APEX 4 and 5
Oracle PL/SQL
Oracle BI Publisher
Oracle REST data source
Apache & Tomcat Web Server
Red Hat Linux 5 and 6
Perform daily systems checks and perform systems maintenance including tuning & cloning
Develop, manage, test, maintain, and monitor application and database backup plans and disaster recovery plans
Generate customized reports as required
Provide as needed, production support to business users
Publish supporting documentation for all systems. This includes maintaining existing technical documentation, DBA guides, and technical environment details
Essential on arrival: Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS (preferably 11i or R12.1.3) and Non-EBS database administration tasks; upgrades, patches, cloning, autoconfig, user maintenance, troubleshooting, PCP and OPP, TNS connectivity, backup management, performance tuning, table space management, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Advanced understanding of middleware technology products like Oracle Application Server, Web Logic, Oracle REST services.
Strong Linux shell & Perl scripting skills.
Proficiency with programming in PL/SQL
Experience in developing applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
Functional analyst experience in Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12
Experience with administering and configuring hardware, services and storage in Red Hat Linux 5 or greater, including CPU, memory, disk partitions, SMTP, Samba, xRDP, sendmail, as well as firewall and user management.
Proficiency with Oracle Development Tools (Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, SQL Developer) in an Oracle Applications environment
Familiarity with AP and GL interface tables and APIs.
Hands-on working knowledge of Oracle Applications 11i with emphasis on: Financials, HR, Property Manager, Projects, Purchasing, iProcurement
Experience with Multi-Currency and Multi-Organization Architectures
Experience with Bash scripting
