Main purpose of job:
The individual will ensure cleanliness and maintenance of water bowser/fuel tanker, including the generator and rubber pipe. Monitor and maintain the working condition of the water bowser/fuel tanker generator and report any issues promptly. Report safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?
• Keep fuel tanker/water bowser tanks filled with diesel fuel/water.
• Coordinate with drivers for refilling fuel from the station and delivering to British High Commission off-compound houses.
• Ensure safe delivery of diesel fuel/water from the bowser to the designated fuel drum/water tank.
• Regularly check engine fluids, inspect interior and exterior, and maintain proper tire pressure.
• Keep fuel tanker/water bowser generator operational.
• Responsible for cleaning the fuel tanker/water bowser.
• Regularly check fuel oil levels. Perform generator maintenance and keep it clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of the steam wash machine.
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager and promptly report any faults.
For BHC candidates, the Country Based Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply. For other than BHC candidates the basic salary will be PKR 76,747 per month. This salary is non-negotiable.
'Please note that the current salaries are being dollarized and processed in USD (using a fixed corporate exchange rate from November 2022) to provide cushion against the current external market conditions. This is a temporary measure and is subject to review at regular intervals. The payroll will revert to local currency processing once the external market conditions are normalised.
