Provide analytical and administrative assistance to the Brazil Inward Investment Team and customer relationship support to Brazilian companies willing to expand its operations to the United Kingdom.

Analytical: Help the Brazil Inward Investment Team to identify key Brazilian companies to internationalise to the UK, according to HMG’s priorities and metrics of high impact Foreign Direct Investment.

Customer Relationship: provide support to Brazilian companies that are willing to internationalize its operations to the UK; regularly updating Client Relationship Management (CRM) system; organize and support with agendas for investors visiting the United Kingdom; and ensure all enquiries, requests of information and requirements from the Brazil pipeline of potential investors are met in a timely and effective manner.

Administrative and Operational: Help the Brazil Inward Investment Team to deliver its planned marketing and client engagement activities throughout the financial year by organising events and missions; organising and supporting VIP and Ministerial visits to Brazil and other important actions. Provide administrative support to the Brazil Inward Investment Team (meetings, reports, contracts, follow-ups, briefings, finance etc) and any other activity as required by managers.

Time and travel: Position will be based in São Paulo and travel can occur occasionally

Essential on arrival:


  • The successful candidate should be a university graduate, with 3-5 years of relevant professional experience,
  • He or she will have excellent organizational skills, be results oriented and have a hands-on approach.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a multicultural environment and have good time management skills.
  • Background and track record in investment promotion and/or experience of working in a business-related function would be a distinct advantage.

Language: fluent in English and Portuguese
