View Vacancy - Security Guard - S2
Main purpose of job:
The successful candidates will be part of a large Security Team guarding personnel and assets of the British High Commission family.
Roles and responsibilities:
The jobholders will be expected to carry out the full range of guard duties, which will include:
- monitoring all activities around the BHC buildings / residences
- conducting security checks on vehicles,
- searching visitors and staff entering and leaving all locations
- performing other tasks as instructed by the Security Coordinator, Post Security Manager and the Regional Overseas Security Manager.
Language requirements:
Language: Bangla and English
Level of language required: have the ability to communicate in both written and verbal English
Essential on arrival:
- Minimum 2 years work experience in same field required
- Minimum Education Qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Smart and presentable at all times
- reliable, alert and honest
- have good time keeping, which is essential
Desirable: Successful candidates will be team player and will have effective working relationships with the members of the security team.
SALARY PACKAGE:
For British High Commission (BHC) candidates, the Local Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.
For other than BHC candidates, salary will be BDT 33,661 per month, which is paid 13 times a year.

Employment offers are subject to successful clearance of pre-employment and security checks. No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.
