View Vacancy - Project Coordinator
Summary:
This position is to support the delivery of the British Council’s global cultural relations, Arts, Education and Society work in the USA
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation and delivery of new and existing projects
- Support programs and events including: arranging internal/external meetings; organizing visit programs (including booking travel/hotels); updating contact lists
- Support financial management, including handling payments and receipts
- Assist with program files and database organization and maintenance
- Support the project managers in the dissemination, collection and analysis of project evaluation data
- Support the project managers in internal and external communications for the projects
- Assist with the delivery of events and Senior visits in the United States
- Other duties as assigned
Previous project coordination experience
Previous basic finance experience
Previous events management experience
Previous administrative experience
Previous experience working with diverse stakeholders, including universities, NGOs, think tanks, research institutions and government entities
Undergraduate degree
Under US State Department requirements, the Embassy may only employ, as non-diplomatic staff, persons who are US citizens, US Green Card holders or A or NATO visa holders with EAD cards*. If you hold a visa other than an A or NATO visa you are not currently eligible to work at the Embassy. *A visas or NATO visas with EAD cards are acceptable at the Embassy, Consulates, and British Defence Staff (BDS) outposts. The UK Mission to the UN (UKMIS) accepts G visas.
