The British Embassy in Tunis is looking to recruit a full-time Protocol Officer to ensure protocol services to an enlarged platform including Libya Operations Team.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•Clearance of air and sea fright for Embassy and UKBS within specified time frames.
•Drafting of NVs and follow up with MFA & other Government authorities.
•Fixing of appointments with MFA / Ministries/ for HMA, DHM and other officers.
•General protocol work including invitation lists and data bases for official events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience in similar role.
Proficient in IT Skills including advanced Word, Excel and SharePoint.
Communication Skills: English, French & Arabic

Experience with Oracle based systems.

Working Hours and Remuneration:

Conditioned working hours are 40 hours gross per week. Standard working hours are from 08:00 am to 16:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. 08:00 – 13:00 on Fridays.

The British Embassy in Tunisia offers an attractive working environment and remuneration package for this role. Initial salary will be TND 1600 per month while on probation. Salary after probation is TND 1981.

The appointment is also subject to satisfactory local and UK security clearances.
