View Vacancy - VNM - GREAT Intern (Hanoi)
Main purpose of job:
2018 marks the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UK and Vietnam. We will use the anniversary to deliver a British Festival in October around Hoan Kiem lake. This will attract 100s of thousands of people to experience personally what Britain has to offer in Vietnam and, via the media, will be projected to a national audience.
If you’re interested in British culture and want to learn more about how the British do diplomacy then this is an excellent opportunity to get involved. Alongside delivering the festival you will have a tailored programme to learn and work with diplomats, including the Ambassador, on a wide range policies.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:
GREAT British Festival: Deliver the day to day tasks for the festival - working closely with the GREAT campaign officer and lead.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Able to work to tight deadlines and multi-task effectively
- Good team-working skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with other teams around the network
- Proven experience of event management
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
- Familiarity with UK culture
This position will be based in Hanoi.
