View Vacancy - Ad Hoc Back Up Reception Cover
The British Embassy in Tel Aviv is seeking an individual for the position of Ad Hoc Back up Reception Cover.
Purpose of the job
To provide Ad hoc cover in the CSU team, as and when required, for Reception and Estates staff.
Responsibilities will include:
- Operate the Embassy switchboard and respond to general enquiries from the public over the telephone.
- Deal with official visitors at Reception.
- Support to Embassy dealing with stationery, postage and other administrative duties.
- Occasional accompanying of contractors on longer term works where no staff are available.
- Assisting the process on new properties prior to the arrival of a Diplomat.
- Good communication skills - English and Hebrew.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self starter and able to manage own time effectively.
- Working knowledge of computer ( a knowledge of Microsoft windows and excel would be an advantage)
The Embassy offers an attractive working environment and remuneration package for the role, including: salary of 30 NIS per hour plus transport. Parking facilities are not provided or paid for by the Embassy.
No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.
Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 – 16:00 and Friday 8:00-13:30.
The appointment will be subject to security clearance and a probationary period of five full day shifts.
