This is a fantastic role leading on the defence and security sectors for the Department for International Trade (DIT) team at the British Embassy in Kyiv. Supporting Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and independence has been a longstanding priority for the UK government. The devastating conflict that began with Russia’s invasion on 24th February 2022 has seen an increase in Ukraine’s requirements to defend itself and its population; and a corresponding need for even sharper support from the UK and other international partners.
