The UK Programme Team at the British Embassy Beirut will deliver over £100m of programmes in Lebanon over the next three years. The Programme Support Officer will work directly to a programme Head to help manage projects funded by the Embassy, with a focus on stabilisation, security, and peace building. Your role will be outward-facing and fast-paced, but carry with it necessary project and programme administration. Key Competences required for the job:

• Seeing the Big Picture - Seeing the big picture is about having an in-depth understanding and knowledge of how your role fits with and supports organisational objectives and the wider public needs.

• Delivering at Pace - Effectiveness in this area means focusing on delivering timely performance with energy and taking responsibility and accountability for quality outcomes. For all staff, it’s about working to agreed goals and activities and dealing with challenges in a responsive and constructive way.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) and flexible team player
