Security Guards

Main purpose of job:

Protect the lives of employers, colleagues and visitors to the British High Commission office and residence. Ensure there is no unauthorised access to office, house, grounds or any vehicle or equipment in the grounds.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures. 
  • Control access to the British High Commission’s office and residence.
  • Search all the official British High Commission vehicles when entering the office premises.
  • Complete Observance Book (OB) daily.
  • Partake in crisis management plans.
  • Customer care – as first point of contact.

 

  • Prior security guarding experience.
  • Fair spoken and written english language.
