View Vacancy - Regional Procurement Assistant Europe & EECAD (LTU19.106)
The British Embassy in Vilnius is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking to recruit a Regional Procurement Assistant for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorates. The successful candidate will be responsible as part of a small regional team for supporting the regional procurement activity for British Embassies and Consulates within this region.
Roles and responsibilities:
Regional Procurement Delivery Support
- Initiate new supplier set-ups and assist in supplier optimisation projects;
- Assist in preparation and issuance of tender documents via e-procurement platform;
- Preparation of spend reports and market analysis;
- Any other procurement activity as deemed by the Head of Procurement.
University Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance or similar;
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills: responsibility, ability to meet deadlines, attention to details, positive attitude;
Ability to work under pressure and deal with competing priorities;
Excellent oral and written English skills;
Good level of proficiency in MS Office particularly MS Excel and Word.
Procurement knowledge;
Admin skills.
The successful candidate will be subject to professional background check and security clearance.
