The British Embassy in Poland is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking to recruit a permanent full-time Entry Clearance Assistant to join the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) team at the British Embassy in Warsaw. The successful candidate would join an existing team of Entry Clearance Assistants and full training will be given for the role.

UKVI Warsaw is a visa issuing post for UK visa applications from twenty countries including Poland. The office is made up of Polish and British staff, all working together to achieve the objectives of the regional UKVI Business plan. Main responsabilities will include:

  • Receiving and importing data from visa application forms on to the visa section’s IT database;
  • Despatching documents to Posts;
  • Filing documents;
  • Assisting in other duties as when required.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (both oral and written);
  • Experience in data entry;
  • The highest possible level of integrity, honesty and reliability;
  • The ability to work in a team, with a positive, energetic and friendly approach;
  • The ability to work unsupervised and to prioritise workloads where required;
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) and Internet.

This is a permanent full-time position (37.5 net per week).

The monthly gross salary for this position is PLN 4,722.

Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax required by the local law. Please be aware that the British Embassy in Warsaw will not be able to cover any costs connected with relocation.

The successful candidate will be subject to the Polish references check and satisfactory completion of a probationary period of three months.

Candidates must have pre-existing right to live and work in Poland for the duration of the job offer in order to apply. The British Embassy does not sponsor work permits.
