The British Embassy in Dublin is part of a world-wide network, representing UK political, economic and consular interests overseas.

We are now looking for a motivated Trade and Investment Project Coordinator to support the design and implementation of business campaigns promoting increased trade and investment between UK and Ireland.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • To establish systems and processes to manage and support matching of buyers and suppliers between UK and Ireland;

  • To deliver impactful events and programmes which assist companies source partners and win business deals;

  • To undertake data analysis, interpretation and presentation of compelling arguments for trade promotion.

  • Third level qualification;

  • Minimum of two year’s of experience in working in a business environment, supporting companies grow and develop;

  • Customer focus with exceptional planning and organisational skills;

  • Excellent team player with ability to support a varied range of tasks;

  • Ability to self manage, apply initiative, problem solve and work under pressure to meet multiple priorities.

 

  • Strong knowledge of Irish economy, business environment and key sectors;
  • Strong network of contacts in business across a wide variety of sectors;
  • Creative flair in organising and delivering events.

This is a full-time position, initially on a two year fixed-term contract, 41 hours gross per week, with the possibility of renewal beyond this term.
