Main purpose of job:


As part of the LatAm Regional Investment Team, to support the Investment Manager for North LatAm in delivering high quality investment from the region to the United Kingdom


 


Roles and responsibilities:


     

-        Assist the North LatAm Investment Manager with day-to-day activities (eg. client meetings; KPIs analysis, processes, client events, business development outreach)


-        Responsible for client support of projects from primary and secondary markets (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador


-        Providing assistance to investors and prospect investors from Colombia, Peru and Ecuador with market reports, connections, agendas in the UK and attending meetings.


-        Supporting the delivery of regional activities/events/missions/visits in North LatAm or in the UK.


-        Constant update of the CRM system (Data Hub) with information provided by the Investment Manager for North LatAm.


-        Gathering information, analysing data and pipeline to support the Investment Manager for North LatAm in making decisions on where to allocate resources and efforts; and on business forecasting/planning.

 

Essential on arrival:


  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in economics, trade, business administration, finance, statistics or international relations related subjects. Or appropriate business experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:


  • Evidence of trade or investment related employment.
  • Knowledge of the UK offer to foreign investors.
  • Experience of both the UK and Latin American business environments and cultures.
  • Proficient user of MS Office (especially Excel) and previous experience with CRMs.
