Main purpose of job:
The jobholders will undertake a range of tasks, as detailed below, in connection with the processing of visa applications. We are looking for flexible people, who work well in a busy environment. It is extremely important that jobholders are adaptable and show a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks operating to challenging targets.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?
The Visa Operational Support Unit is responsible for a variety of support functions, which assist the wider visa section in the efficient processing of visa applications. This includes data entry and general administrative support, assisting with the allocation of work to dealing with.
Typical tasks for ECAs include:
· Entering data from visa application forms accurately
· Linking and stream applications according to risk data
· Assisting in allocating electronic files to other teams throughout the Visa Section
· Contacting applicants when additional evidence is needed in order to complete processing

In addition to this, there may be further roles available in UKVI this summer at A2 grade. The salary at this grade is gross 8,959 RMB per month with a 5% bonus paid upon completion of the contract. You may be considered and offered one of these positions depending on your performance during interview.
· Ability to work effectively against demanding targets;
· Ability to use initiative in solving problems;
· Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Windows operating system, Office applications).
Working Patterns:
Five working days a week with two consecutive days off. It is likely that the five working days could include Saturday or Sunday. There may also be a requirement for flexible shift working between 06:00 and 23:00.
