View Vacancy - Political and Economics Intern
Main purpose of job: The political and economics intern will be part of the British Embassy Caracas Political and Economics Section. They will contribute to political and economic analysis through research and reporting. The role will also include supporting on the cooperation projects on areas aligned with the objectives of the Embassy such as climate change, human rights, gender equality etc. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and practical exposure to economics, public policies, political and sustainable development topics. |
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve? · Research, analyse and report on key economic and political developments in Venezuela. This will include producing weekly press summaries and reports on thematic topics, including but not limited to economics, humanitarian situation and human rights. The role also includes monitoring and updating of the main economic, socio-economic and human rights indicators. (70%). · Support the Embassy’s project life-cycle, by processing and reviewing bids, supporting due diligence assessment, and conducting monitoring and evaluation under the Programme Responsible Owner. (20%). · Support on ad-hoc admin tasks to support on the Political and Economic section priorities (10%) |
