View Vacancy - MYR - Residence Manager, A2 (L)
The British Embassy in Yangon is seeking an individual for the position of Ambassador’s Residence Manager.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?
- Supervise the day to day activities of the diplomatic residence
- Supervise for running of events / functions
- Maintain records of household and entertainment expenditure
- Line manage a small team of residence staff
- Liaise with Embassy Staff and external contacts
- Previous recent experience with a proven track record in an international standard hotel, diplomatic residence or equivalent
- Ability to create a collaborative caring, supportive team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to balance official representational needs with family needs
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Burmese
- Ability and experience using Microsoft Office and Email
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field
- Recent training and / or experience in housekeeping, catering and organising official functions and managing a small team
- Experience in maintaining accounts
The British Embassy Rangoon offers a competitive remuneration package, including salary, benefits, leave entitlement of 22 days per annum (calculated in pro rata), accommodation
