Main purpose of the job:

To drive office vehicles in accordance with the policies and guidance of the Organisation.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • To keep proper duty sheets and records of fuel consumption.
  • To ensure periodical servicing is carried out at the designated service centres.
  • To check vehicle on a daily basis and highlight any issues to the Transport Officer immediately.
  • Be always punctual for duties drawn by the transport officer.
  • Daily maintenance & cleanliness of vehicle by washing it and maintain journey sheets with mileage and fuel purchase.
  • To submit overtime and other claims within the first 3 days of the month and also keep the duty sheets updated on a daily basis.  

Working patterns:

Working in shifts and long hours during VVIP Visits and Royal visits.

Any other information:

Will have to deliver letters and procurement of airport passes during VIP visits and QM services etc.

Language requirements:  

Language: English, Hindi and Marathi.

Level of language required: Good spoken English and should be able to understand English.

Other skills / experience / qualifications: 

Essential on arrival: Should hold a valid medium driving licence.

Work experience with multi-national companies, hospitality industry or any diplomatic missions / expat families.

For other than BHC candidates, salary will be ­­­­­­INR 25,266 per month plus 12% provident fund and 6% Superannuation Fund

Please note - BHC does not deduct tax at source and employees are required to ensure that any requirements of local income-tax law are complied with in full.
