Housekeeper

Summary:

To carry out general cleaning duties as required which includes ironing and laundry functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Residency;
  • Laundering and pressing of bedding and clothing as required, occasionally to tight timescales;
  • Flexibility to complete additional ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Ability/willingness to assist with household functions/events would be an advantage.

 

The successful applicant will be working within the home of the Defence Attaché and his family and they will report to the House Manager. 

  • Good communication skills and English proficiency is required;
  • Engagement with high ranking personnel will be on a regular basis.
  • The successful applicant must be self-motivated and be content to work unsupervised;
  • Trustworthy, honest, reliable and polite.
