View Vacancy - MNL - Pro Consul
- Assistance casework – to assist vulnerable British Nationals in line with the Consular Strategy and within consular business targets. This will include providing support to distressed British Nationals after a bereavement, a crime or when they have specific welfare needs (e.g., during a hospitalisation, arrest/detention, and includes those with mental health issues). The job holder will also liaise with families of British Nationals and also our team in London to agree an appropriate strategy to offer the appropriate level of assistance. 70%
- Liaison and outreach work with key stakeholders and other key contacts – this will include working with the team on events, visiting working level external contacts. 10%
- Notarial support – to deal with customers at the front counter/ do cashiering duties/production of Emergency Travel Documents, certify passports, administer oaths, etc. 10%
- Prevention work – this will include planning, assisting in and executing prevention activities. 5%
- Administrative and clerical support to the section – this will include filing documents, requesting supplies, coordinating with service providers for our needs and concerns, faxing, mailing, banking, etc. 5%
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines, prioritising workloads as necessary
- Good IT skills/experience including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Minimum of 1 year related experience in customer service or similar organisations
- Ability to demonstrate the following competences: Changing and Improving, Making Effective Decisions, Delivering a Quality Service, Delivering at Pace, Collaborating and Partnering, Demonstrating Resilience
- College/university degree
- Proficiency in local language/s
- Experience in multinational/international organisations
