The British Embassy, Israel has vacancy for a Part Time- Cleaner, Grade S3 (L).

Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the Embassy facilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and tidying accessible areas of the Embassy including, offices, toilets ,kitchenettes, drivers and guards room and car park.

  • Managing the inventory of Embassy cleaning products.

  • Keeping the kitchens stocked with tea/coffee etc.

  • Maintaining the office plants.

  • Preparing meeting rooms for meetings as required.

Essential experience and qualifications:

  • Good spoken English and Hebrew language skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Self-starter and able to manage own time effectively.

Working Hours and Remuneration:

The Embassy aims to offer an attractive working environment and remuneration package for this role, including the salary of ILS 4,273 per month plus social benefits. Parking facilities will not be provided or paid for by the Embassy. No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.

Normal working hours of the Embassy are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 – 16:00 and Friday 8:00-13:30. This is a part time role , 6 hours per day including half hour lunch. Monday to Thursday 0900 to 1500 and Friday 0730 to 1330.

The appointment will be subject to security clearance and a probationary period of four months.

Eligibility:

Candidate must be able to work legally in Israel.
