Length of Contract: 1 year (renewable)

Main purpose of job:     

Driving Duties for Naval & Air Adviser and also for the staff of Defence Section as and when required.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Driving duties for the Naval & Air Adviser.
  • Driving duties for UK BHC/LE staff (Defence Section).
  • Maintain journey record sheet.
  • Perform duty according to roster.
  • Ensure necessary documents are accurately completed.
  • Keep vehicle neat, clean and well maintained.
  • Check Engine oil, break oil, fuel level, tyre pressure, lights, washers and wipers and ensure the vehicle is fully functional all the time.
  • HTV/PSV driving licence.
  • 3 to 5 years as a HTV/PSV driver in NGO or reputable international organisation as a driver.
  • (shortlisted candidate will  be required to provide reference letter from previous employer).
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Maintain a smart, professional & business like appearance when on duty.

Training in Defensive driving and military experience is preferable but not essential.

SALARY PACKAGE:

For British High Commission (BHC) candidates, the Local Staff BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.

For other than BHC candidates, salary will be ­­­­­­PKR 50,933  per month
