Main purpose of job:
Masonry work
- Prepares surfaces prior to beginning work.
- Fabricates, alters, waterproofs, repairs and maintains walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces.
- Lays blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawings. Lays out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels.
- Mixes cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, and/or hand tools.
- Cuts or breaks bricks and concrete using hammers, powered abrasive saws, paving breakers, drills, and/or hand tools.
- Working to agreed schedules and timescales and compliant with FCO regulations, and Health & Safety standards.
Language requirements:
Language: English language is desirable
Level of language required: Basic
Other skills / experience / qualifications:
Knowledge of related tools, masonry techniques, equipment and materials. Skill in the construction, alteration, repair and maintenance of masonry structures and surfaces.
Scaffolding erecting skills and Elementary level education is desirable but not essential.
Salary Details:
For BHC candidates, the Local BHC Terms & Conditions will apply.
For other than BHC candidates, Basic Salary will be PKR 58,136 per month.
