Corporate Services Support

The Corporate Services Team in British Embassy Cairo is looking to appoint a Corporate Services Assistant grade A2 (L) to start as soon as possible.

Main purpose of the job

This is a challenging role for a resourceful candidate reporting to the Corporate Services Manager. It requires the ability to multitask, excellent organisational skills, a strong customer focus and the ability to work as an integral part of a high performing team. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure flats & stores inventories are up to date
    • March-in & Outs of properties
    • Manage lease extensions/renewals
    • Manage monthly rental payments/DS renewals
    • Organize furniture sale numbering/bid collection & processing
    • Manage transit flat bookings
    • Pollution monitoring and policy implementation
    • Pyramid user (FCO software programme to support Estates management).
    • Provide support in the Procurement process
    • Provide administrative support to recruitment processes
    • Provide administrative support for the annual performance management process
    • Produce HR letters
    • Support for event management.

    • Demonstrated ability and experience in Admin support position
    • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and the ability to work flexibly both in a team and individually;
    • Good IT skills (word, excel, outlook and the internet), including the ability to learn new programmes quickly.

    Remuneration:

    The position is A2 (L) and the Gross Salary is USD 804.39 per month subject to insurance and tax as per the usual regulations based on a 36 hours per week. We offer a competitive package including medical benefits, performance related bonus, recreational facilities, opportunities for job related training & development, etc. This is a full time, fixed term contract for one-year.

    No accommodation and relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.

    Eligibility:
