Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (Policy & Political roles)
Political

  • To prepare the daily press report for the review of the Political and Security Officer;
  • To support the Communications Officer in managing the Embassy’s social media accounts;
  • To lead in the organisation of the Embassy’s cultural activities;
  • To assist in the research and editing of ad hoc reports;
  • To support the Communications Officer in other media activities;
  • To support the Political and Communications Team in the updating of contact databases (including Chevening).
  • To coordinate and/or provide logistical support for events;
  • To administratively support Embassy projects;
  • To carry out other administrative duties;
  • To represent the Embassy in specific events and write minutes;
  • To assist the Political and Communications Team in other activities when needed.

Main purpose of job: Support the Political and Communications Team in the areas of political reporting, communications & social media, cooperation, human rights and Chevening scholarships.

- Excellent writings skills (both in English and Spanish).

- Strong understanding of political issues in Venezuela.

- Proactive and ability to learn quickly. Good knowledge of MS Office software.

Language: English/Spanish   

Level of language required: Proficient (both written and oral).


All introductory courses including PRISM trainings. FCO social media trainings.
