View Vacancy - Marshall Scholarship Administrative Assistant
Main purpose of job:
We are seeking a temporary (13 weeks) part-time (16 hours a week) administrative assistant to assist Post with the Marshall Scholarship process and climate matters in the run up to the UN Climate Change Summit in Glasgow (COP26).
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:
• General administrative/communication duties
• Manage communication with applicants, universities and members of the selection committees
• Attend meetings and collect score data using Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
• Collating all Marshall Scholarship applications and distributing to committees
• Track expenses for applicants and catering
• Assist with media communications regarding scholarship announcements
• Supporting events and visits for NY Climate Week and COP26
• Maintaining environmental best practise guide

•Strong organisational detail and skills
•Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
•Ability to maintain a good telephone manner and a positive and polite attitude
•Ability to handle confidential documents with personal information
•Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
•Interest and desire to work in a multi-cultural environment
