Main purpose of job:


Advert for two interns to provide commercial and administrative support to the Education team and to the Infrastructure team within the Commercial Section (DIT) at the British Consulate-General Sao Paulo.



Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:


· Assist with OMIS (Overseas Market Introduction Services) for UK companies

· Provide support to the organisation of events such as trade missions, seminars and other special events

· Keep CRM (Customer Relationship Management) databases updated

· Conduct market researches and identify business opportunities

· Give support to possible demands from UK partners about Brazil

· Attend trade fairs and official events when necessary

· Monitor the internet, newspapers and specialised magazines gathering information for the team


Essential on arrival:


  • Undergraduate Student, preferably in International Affairs, Business, International Commerce, Marketing, or other related areas.
  • He/she must also be flexible, dynamic and pro-active. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Portuguese, and excellent communication and presentation skills with both languages.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office package.

Desirable:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player,
  • Quick learner is a desirable skill.
