View Vacancy - DIT Intern (Education, Healthcare & Life Sciences) - Mexico City
Main purpose of job
Provide commercial and administrative support to the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education team within the Commercial Section (Department for International Trade) at the British Embassy in Mexico City.
What will the jobholder be expected to achieve?
- Provide logistics support in events/fairs, trade missions and workshops related to the sectors.
- Market research and report generation.
- Share relevant information about Mexican context with those British SMEs that would like to explore the Mexican market.
- Draft and upload Export Opportunities for UK companies in EIG.
- Monitor the internet, newspaper and specialised magazines gathering information for the team and producing a bi-monthly newsletter.
Essential on arrival:
- Must be currently studying a degree (undergraduate) in International Business, Business Administration, International Relations or any commercial related field or recently completed (within the last 12 months).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable:
- Proactive.
- Previous research experience.
- Good social skills.
Candidates must be able to live and work in Mexico in their own right.
The successful candidate will be subject to a security clearance and professional reference checks.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 9:00 – 14:00; Friday 9:00 – 14:00
