Main Purpose of Job:

Based at the British Consulate-General, New York, the Trade & Investment Officer will support the North American Director for Infrastructure which includes transit, water, social and sports infrastructure, infra-technology, real estate, and resiliency focused on public and private sector developments. In this role you will both cultivate relationships with C-suite executives from top companies across N America while also supporting UK companies in their efforts to grow in the US market. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most significant and critical projects and initiatives which have global impact and are vital to transatlantic economic growth. You will be part of the North America (US and Canada) teams with responsibility for Infrastructure, as well as a valued contributor to the regional team based in New York. You will also work closely with colleagues based around the UK.

This role is 40 hours a week.
