Main Purpose of Job: Be part of the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) mission to drive more trade and investment between North America and the UK. Based at the British Consulate General in Montreal, the Senior Trade & Investment Officer will be part of a wider North America team responsible for space, aerospace and future mobility. This role will include proactively identifying trade and investment opportunities in Quebec for market ready companies seeking to launch into, or expand in the UK market. In addition, the role will also support UK companies seeking trade opportunities in Canada. There will be line management responsibility of one Investment Officer. You will also be a valued contributor to the Montreal based regional team and work closely with colleagues based around the US and UK. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis starting as soon as possible, subject to successful security clearance. The language requirement is bilingual English and French. |
